Projects and Partnerships

Together with our partners, we work to ensure that all children and young people in Tower Hamlets have access to a range of arts opportunities. We work across:

  • Music
  • Visual Arts – including art & design and museums & heritage
  • Drama
  • Dance
  • Film & media

THAMES partners can access the following:

  • Cultural partners network. Open to all cultural organisations who work with young people in Tower Hamlets, we hold meet-ups to catch up on programmes, network and have focused presentations and discussions on current issues affecting young people, schools and communities in Tower Hamlets.
  • Help with recruiting schools for projects and signposting young people to local programmes. We regularly communicate with schools to let them know what is available to them and their students.
  • Support and collaboration with strategic projects. We regularly collaborate with partners on joined-up, strategic activity.
  • Opportunities to apply for seed funding.

We ask that partners regularly communicate with THAMES to share activity they are delivering in Tower Hamlets so that we have an overview and can signpost young people and schools accordingly.
