THAMES Friends

THAMES’ Friends is a charity that raises funds to support young musicians in Tower Hamlets. They work closely with the Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Education Service (THAMES) and the THAMES Saturday Music Centre (SMC). Trustees are mainly parents and carers of the young students who attend the SMC and students who take part in THAMES ensembles, events and tours.

THAMES’ Friends is run by a management committee of trustees who help each week at the SMC. They also raise funds for selected projects and activities that add to and enrich the excellent core work of THAMES.
