Early Years

There is a wealth of evidence that demonstrates the positive impact creativity has on babies and young children. The arts help develop a child's imagination, creativity and their ability to use media and materials. Children do this in a range of ways including singing songs and making music, dancing, playing with colours, textures and design.

Tower Hamlets Early Years Arts Network

The Tower Hamlets Early Years Arts Network provides a forum for EYFS practitioners to come together termly to share best practice, learn from one another and meet other EYFS practitioners working in Tower Hamlets. We also invite external arts organisations from time to time to lead training and CPD around a particular artform.

The network explores all artforms including music, dance, drama and visual art.

This network is for anyone working in an Early Years setting, including schools, nurseries, children’s centres, family centres, childminders etc, whether you are experienced in using the arts in your setting, or are completely new to it.

If you would like to join the network, please email us to be added to our mailing list.
